“If I Never Left is about someone in my life who was really abusive and manipulative. One day I just stopped answering the phone. I changed my number, blocked their email. I knew if I wanted to better my life and myself, I’d have to get away from them. And I did. I wouldn't change anything. I learned a lot from that experience. It helped me grow as a person. As for advice I would say, don't let people put you down. Sometimes when you have nothing, you let people take advantage of you because you feel like they're your only way out of a bad situation, but the reality is that no one can save you but yourself.”
